  • Objectives: The main objective of this exercise was to test the NOSCP in order to identify necessary modifications to make the plan more operational and efficient. More specifically, the objectives of this exercise were to test the following components of the plan:
    • Notification and alert process (from spiller to NOSDRA, from NOSDRA to other agencies)
    • Roles and responsibilities of the various organisations within the current NOSCP
    • Capacity of the NOSCP to assess the situation and identify relevant response strategies
    • Incident management system
    • Communications between the various agencies involved in the NOSCP and the ability to inform the public of the situation through media
