Objectives

GI WACAF organised and led a workshop to develop a national regulation for the use of chemical dispersants in the event of an oil spill. Through a combination of presentations, facilitated discussions and group exercises, key stakeholders, supported by GI WACAF personnel and consultant collaboratively developed the regulation. The four-day workshop resulted in a framed draft national policy.
