Objectives

Namibian government is developing an oil dispersant use policy. This workshop organised by the Ministry of Works and Transport with the help of the Benguela Current Commission (BCC) aims at presenting the importance of developing such policy and discussing the document in development.

The role of the GI WACAF, during this event, is a role of technical support:

- to share information about the principles and challenges regarding the use of dispersants,

- to provide some feedback on the work in progress,

- to help develop and improve the National Dispersant use policy, for the specific context of Namibia.
