Objectives

The objectives of this exercise, as defined by the countries, would be to:

  1. Test the communication links between Angola and Namibia;
  2. Test mechanisms for requesting assistance and mobilization of international resources;
  3. Test the National Plans of the two countries in the case of a trans-boundary oil spill incident; and
  4. Expose participants to the key issues related to trans-boundary spill incidents.
