Objectives

This activity aims at providing technical assistance to support the Authorities of Guinea Bissau for the establishment of a national spill contingency system including:

  • The ratification of relevant international conventions
  • An approved National Spill Contingency Plan with its key annexes: sensitivity maps and dispersant use policy,
  • A programme for the implementation of the national emergency response system deployed (in accordance with the provisions of the NESP) and its sustained maintenance
