Objectives
GI WACAF webinar series on oil spill preparedness and response returns with a first episode dedicated to the National Oil Spill Contingency Plan (NOSCP) and its annexes. For this webinar, leading international experts from ITOPF and OTRA will present both the development process and the content of a NOSCP.
At the end of this 1-hour webinar, participants should be able to:
- Gain an understanding of the development process of a NOSCP (including its scope, stakeholders, risk assessment, and institutional environment); and
- Gain knowledge of the content of a NOSCP, including some of its annexes, and the importance of its effective implementation.
